Can you believe we’re starting the third week already since our launch day?! Three weeks!!!! We know it doesn’t seem like much, but the days and weeks are just flying by here at Lace and Loyalty!
When we started on this journey almost 7 months ago now, we thought July 7th would never get here and now it’s already in the distance. We couldn’t have prepared ourselves for all the bumps along the road we encountered when we started building our dream together…….it’s been crazy……but so worth it!!!
There has been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that have gotten us where we are! Which is exactly what we’re going to show you on the blog today…..some Lace and Loyalty behind the scenes fun!!!
When you have a ton of vendor packets to put together, and put the finishing touches on, what is the first thing you reach for……is it the double sided tape, or the glitter, or the glitter pens…..no, it’s the wine!!!!
Once we got a few glitches out (that had nothing to do with the wine!)….we were on a roll, and we must say, the Vendor Guides turned out pretty good!!
And the ones that didn’t turn out the best….well, Miss Elly (Alison’s dog!) took care of those for us!!!
Then there were planning meetings, so fun for us all to get together!!!
All that work sure made us hungry though….but you don’t ever stop planning, so we took our meeting to the car and continued it while we had our lunch!!! We had so much to talk about, we couldn’t stop for breaks!!
Then there were the photo shoots!!! Yes, we said shoots!!! Ahhh, yes we love them but what is the one thing you don’t want to see on your scheduled photo shoot day……rain did you say?!! Well, guess what we saw?!
Yep, that’s rain…..and lots of it!!!!
So frustrating especially with everyone’s busy schedule, it’s hard to coordinate a day that works for everyone. We did manage to get some photos with our husbands before we looked like drowned rats though!!!
We did have a lot of laughs and fun while doing the shoot but as you can tell….the end result wasn’t the best!
Obviously, we weren’t satisfied…..the photos were just not what we imagined, they didn’t fit our vision of what Lace and Loyalty stood for. So, we scheduled another photo shoot and thankfully, the day was beautiful!!!! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! We shared a sneak peek from the shoot on our Facebook and Instagram sites last week, in case you missed it here it is again!!
Ahhhhhhhh, this is exactly what we were going for!!!!! A huge thank you to Jessica from Ann Louise Photography for capturing this moment for us!!! We had so much fun with you and you gave us exactly what we were looking for!!!!!
